Method is an international experienced design firm focusing on the intersection of brand, product, and service design. They are based in London, New York and San Francisco.

The resulting design came from their need to have open meeting spaces for discussion and the opportunity to have separate secure spaces for confidential projects. Teams needed to be seated on a project by project basis, then disbanded and a new team created.

“…….our design for Method sought to contrast the existing, rugged, building fabric of the Tea Building with finely made elements that defined the various functions required: working, making, eating, playing. The objective was to create an open source environment that encouraged the users to interact in unexpected ways, to produce unexpected outcomes. This, in a sense, is the method behind Method……..” Stephen Archer.

The office is incredibly social and was designed with sufficient space for all the office to eat together.  Each intervention within the space is designed as a separate piece of bespoke furniture.

The angled terrace design provides the agency with unique social space with a great view of Shoreditch.
