White Lion Street
This comprehensive refurbishment transformed a dated commercial office building into a high-quality Cat A workspace, blending modern infrastructure with thoughtful architectural upgrades. The project navigated complex logistical challenges, including the demolition of an existing lift shaft, reinstatement of concrete floor slabs, and the introduction of a new feature staircase.
Delivered on time and to a high standard, the revitalised interior now includes:
A new passenger lift
Exposed high-level MEP services
Extended and fully fitted WC cores
Restored original timber flooring
A contemporary, full-height double-glazed shopfront
A visually striking stair core, colour-coordinated with bespoke yellow highlights
External enhancements were equally extensive, featuring:
Restored front façade
New roof covering
Discreet rooftop plant enclosure
These improvements not only elevate the building’s visual identity but also optimise its performance and functionality.
The result is a future-proofed Cat A office space that harmonises modern building systems with the building’s original character. Designed to meet contemporary standards, the refurbishment maximises long-term value for the client while maintaining architectural integrity.
This successful project reflects strong collaboration between the client, design team, and contractor throughout its 44-week construction period.
