Archer Architects were commissioned to produce designs for the Office of the Agent General for South Australia.
The brief was to produce an environment, which was representative of the key characteristics of the state; being open, progressive and approachable.
Our design applied these characteristics quite literally and produced a series of spaces usually linked, yet separated by a series of glass screens. These screens have various graphics applied to them, place names, produce from South Australia. All the various activities take place side by side but are viewed though the graphics.
Anyone visiting the offices for the first time or working there is placed within the environment and becomes part of the dynamic of the office.
