Metro Photographic Imaging is a well known reprographics company who asked us to create a building capable of consolidating their brand and reputation. Stephen Archer’s design was concerned with the two very different working aspects of the company. The public face of Metro must reflect the high quality nature of the product and display the 24 hour working cycle and the masses of activity associated with the company.

Alternatively, a second working area where the growing Electronic Imaging Department resides required a more subtle approach. Privacy, subdued lighting and a cleverly organised workspace was what was needed here. By creating a showcase for our client and addressing each aspect of their multifaceted industry we produced a building with alternative, integrated and engaging environments.
