Albion are a digital marketing and advertising agency located in Shoreditch, London. They have a very young, energetic workforce and very fluid working patterns.

The space chosen for their head office was spread across two floors and we quickly identified that this lack of connectivity was the principal problem our design needed to address.

We developed a proposal that sought to exaggerate this connectivity by forming a large void between the floors and connecting this to the reception via a stepped auditorium. By placing the reception and café around this new space we provided a new focus for the agency which encouraged social interactions, provided a space for the whole agency to gather and also a seminar/presentation space all rolled into one.

In addition to this we designed a flexible system, meeting rooms and breakout spaces, which all supported a flexible space planning strategy.
